nice price deal !!! 8 years after his first vinyl release georg levin can already be described as a long-time yet unlikely member of berlins electronic music scene. with both his solo project and his production outfit wahoo he is definitely too much on the soulful side to be a typical representative of the techno and rock sound the city is known for. however, it may be this supposedly alien surrounding that gives his compositions and productions a distinctive blend. to his credit georg also had a no.1 on traxsource in late 2009 as a precursor to the release of this, his second album album and debut for bbe.

here is the new eklo, a limited vinyl only release from oleg poliakov. the original is a great groovy and hypnotic house track in the spirit of zip or ricardo long tracks. on the flip seuil reworks it a bit darker and atmospheric with an evolutive edit. timeless groove!

to celebrate the birthday we are releasing a series of five singles, available on 10 inch vinyls (1-5). the series will be followed by the huge 10 years clr compilation with a special collectors artwork. it has been mixed and edited by chris liebing and all the 10 tracks, which appear on the singles and later on the compilation are exclusive and specifically produced for this purpose. chris liebing and green velvet teamed up for the first time pretty much by accident. dustin zahn actually became some kind of obstetrician when he started this mash-up. alex bau is known as one of the long time clr artists and obviously had to contribute a track to the series. both tracks are road tested and guarantee serious damage on the dancefloors

galens original mix is a stellar funky techie house thumper with some nice james bond influenced horn stabs and bouncy melodies that inter-play skillfully with the subbie bass line. of the two remixes on the b-side claude vonstroke steps up first with his cant miss minimal funky dirtybird style. rob mello closes out with a sultry, techie acid house flavored journey featuring long modulationsweeps perched on a chunky bass line.
